Our drivers are on the road everyday delivering tires, wheels and more, across our nation. The relationships they build with our customers and the safety measures they take on the road are integral to our success as a business.

Did you know our drivers perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of their vehicles every single day? They inspect the engine compartments, wheels and tires, brakes and underside, outside of the cab, cargo area, and inside the cab twice a day to ensure safety. Safe travels and delivery while we are on the road and in your community, makes our team successful.

Behind the wheel

A day in the life of an ATD driver

Their morning routine consists of

  1. Check in for their daily customer routes.

  2. Gathering their equipment and paperwork.

  3. Possibly assisting with loading or unloading trucks.

  4. Start their safety check on the vehicle.

Time to get on the road. Start with the extensive safety check list. Each driver will check these areas for visual imperfections; engine compartment, wheels & tires, brakes and underside along with outside the cab, cargo area and lastly, checking inside the cab before they are off.

Our drivers are on the road everyday delivering tires wheels and more across the nation. We are proud of the relationships they build along with the reputation they uphold. Our team helps maintain our fantastic relationship with our customers. They stand strong in our iCARE values to deliver the product and the customer experience we strive for.

Lacing tires

The art of loading an ATD truck

Our drivers go above and beyond every day to ensure the safe and proper storage, loading, and unloading of tires. The way we load an ATD truck correctly is pivotal both for safety and for sustainability. It's important to ensure we have as many tires as we can fit in a truck to decrease the number of trips that have to be made on the road. Lacing tires is our way to pack the trucks full. Lacing allows us to effectively use the space within our trucks, and makes room for 25-30% more product. Have you ever wondered how the drivers can fit so many tires in the truck? Watch this video to see how skillful our team is.

Award winning drivers

Our drivers are the best

Our drivers spend tremendous amounts of time on the road. So much so that we have almost 50 of our drivers who have completed one million miles with ATD. In 2024, we are so happy to have welcomed 10 more drivers into the "club" of one million mile drivers. Overall we have over 1,600 drivers who have completed almost 370 million miles for ATD. Quite the accomplishment and we are very proud of our drivers.
