ATD Named One of Charlotte’s 2022 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®
Today, American Tire Distributors (ATD) announced that it has been named one of Charlotte’s 2022 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). ATD is one of 82 winning organizations from Charlotte, Denver, Miami, Nashville, New York, and the Pacific Northwest that will be honored during the virtual Best and Brightest Conference during the week of November 7, 2022.
“It’s an enormous honor to be named one of the most desirable employers in the Charlotte metropolitan area,” said ATD Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer, Rebecca Sinclair. “Our culture is all about connection, and we will continue to invest in programs that attract top talent and create an amazing work experience.”
The 600 organizations that were nominated for this distinction were assessed by an independent research firm on a variety of key measures in categories such as Benefits and Employee Solutions, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Community Initiatives and Corporate Responsibility and more. The program compares organizations on regional data of company performance, as well as a national standard of commitment to excellence in operations and employee enrichment.
ATD’s connected culture is evident in the company’s new Field Support Center (FSC) in Huntersville, which was designed to create community, advance sustainability, and promote health and holistic wellbeing for associates. Highlights of the new FSC include a more than 9,000-square-foot fitness center, complete with on-site fitness coaching and health screenings for ATD’s associates, upgraded workspaces with state-of-the-art technology, solar panels, and electric vehicle charging stations.
