ATD’s Ivy Chin Honored by National Diversity Council as One of the Most Powerful Women in Tech
American Tire Distributors (ATD) congratulates Ivy Chin, the company’s Chief Digital and Technology Officer, who yesterday was feted as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by the influential National Diversity Council. Chin was recognized yesterday at the 15th Annual Diversity and Leadership Conference in Dallas.
The National Diversity Council specifically recognized her work at ATD on “developing and activating the tools that enable ATD’s continued digitization” enabling ATD to “deliver an unsurpassed associate and customer experience.”
“Ivy has played an important role in ATD's transformation to be the most connected and insightful automotive solutions provider in the industry,” said Stuart Schuette, President and Chief Executive Officer at ATD. "Ivy has helped us optimize the digital infrastructure that has enabled our transformation, allowing us to help our customers and manufacturer partners thrive.”
In Dallas to accept the award, Chin noted, “this award is also a tribute to our superb team, to our business partners, and to all of my fellow associates at ATD for their continued support and inspiration.”
Each year the National Diversity Council compiles a list of the 50 most powerful women in technology as a way to highlight the “highest caliber of executive female leaders within the technology industry.” The Council chooses these leaders for being effective leaders, innovators, and change agents within their organizations, all while inspiring others and driving business growth.
